Employment and Vendor Opportunities: U.S. Gold Corp (USAU) completed the field activities in support of the permit application and feasibility study in the summer of 2022. In June 2023, the Industrial Siting Permit was approved, and the Mine Operating and Closure Permit was received in May 2024. We received the permit for air quality in November 2024 and the Laramie County planning approval in September 2025. There will be additional construction related permits that are necessary should the project advance.
With the permits in hand, the company has confirmation of the required operating and reclamation conditions and standards, and can finalize engineering, design and pre-development work. USAU is also currently conducting several optimization studies with the goal of reducing costs and increasing efficiency. An updated prefeasibility report was released in early 2025 and the company is working on a full feasibility report, which we anticipate in early 2026. Securing financing is dependent upon the results of the feasibility study and will dictate when construction and operations could begin.
If financing is secured, construction of the plant and infrastructure necessary to operate the mine could begin in 2026, which would take about 18-months. Construction will largely utilize contractors and their employees. Employees for mine operations would be hired to coincide with the end of construction to allow for training and onboarding prior to beginning active mining and ore processing. Hiring employees, purchasing and procurement for mine operations are 100% dependent upon finalizing the feasibility report and securing financing. Under this schedule, mining could begin in late 2027 or early 2028.
USAU is committed to hiring and utilizing Wyoming based contractors and employees on the project. Currently the company is not hiring and does not have any active RFPs for vendors or open positions. USAU is collecting names and contact information for interested vendors and employees, and when the time comes, the company will be very active in recruiting locally and advertising the opportunities. Feel free to email us your area of interest and resume. The project website, www.ckgoldmine.com, is a good way to keep up to date on the project and will have information on employment opportunities when they are available.
We will be sure to keep the community updated as the project moves forward.
